Patrick Forbis


A 30 year State Law Enforcement Veteran and a proven leader bringing Management and Leadership skills into the Private sector. Having COO and CEO experience in the Automotive and Manufacturing Industry with a focus on Customer Service and Accountability. The goal of providing tools that encourage innovative thinking and solutions within FX Lighting is at the forefront of everything.

John Spencer


A former Air Force Officer and a proven sales leader with an established track record of success at growing revenue, profitability, and market share in competitive business environments with iconic brands like GE, Hubbell, IDEAL, CREE. Adept at defining business problems, creating sound strategies, and driving those plans into tangible results. Effective at building and mentoring high-performance teams.

Brenda Yates


Brenda is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of North Carolina. She joined the FX team in April of 2017 as the CFO after 32 years of accounting experience in the Healthcare arena. She spent 3 years in the Tax and Audit world right after graduating from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Brenda has enjoyed learning the lighting and manufacturing world after spending so much time in Healthcare. Brenda is married with one daughter. She has a Grandson who is 4 and a Granddaughter on the way.

Kristine Bryant


Kristine Bryant was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She received a BA in Biology from Southwestern University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin - McCombs School of Business. She is an experienced Chief Marketing Officer and has worked with companies in a wide variety of industries to develop and implement effective marketing initiatives.

Neil Tolley

Sales Enablement Manager

Neil Tolley currently oversees the Operations team while managing Business Development in the Tarheel state of NC. A native of Durham, NC, Neil attended the University of North Carolina. He graduated with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Sustainability Studies. He has been with FX Lighting since 2014 where he began as the Warehouse Manager.

Michael Guo

Product Engineer

Michael Guo was born and raised in China. He attached Harbin University Science and Technology and graduated with a B.S. in Applied Electronic Technology. He has 10 years of design and installation experience in the building intelligent electrical engineering, and then 10 years of design and production and management experience in the lighting fixtures factory. He is a father of one young son, and he likes badminton, hiking, mountaineering, etc.

Hunter Alley

Warehouse Manager

Hunter Alley was born and raised in Concord, NC. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship concentration. He has been with FX Lighting since 2019 and currently oversees all warehouse activities. Outside of work, Hunter enjoys time with family/friends, running and matching his beard with his clothes.

Dustin Faithful

RVP East & South Central

Experienced Sales Manager with over a decade of history of working in the Industrial LED lighting industry. Facilitated upfitting over 20 million square feet of industrial facilities lighting. Strong sales professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) focused in Finance, General from North Carolina State University.

Paul Tungseth

RVP North Central & Mountain

Paul obtained his engineering degree from the University of Minnesota, Institute of technology and received his MBA from Aspen University. His experience includes marketing, product & sales management serving process, automation and commercial industries. Market experience includes Industrial, F&B, Medical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and other areas.

UL Certification

UL certifications demonstrate that products have been tested to applicable standards. UL’s recognized regulatory expertise provides critical credibility to authorities and the marketplace. Bring your products to market more efficiently and clearly differentiate them on crowded shelves with certification from the safety science leader.

DesignLights Consortium Premium Certification
DLC Premium is a higher-performance classification for luminaires and retrofit kits. The V5.0 Premium classification is intended to differentiate products that achieve efficacy and controllability performance that exceeds DLC Standard requirements.
Ingress Protection Rating Certification

FX Lighting fixtures have IP ratings certifications. IP classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water in electrical enclosures. The standard aims to provide users more detailed information than vague marketing terms such as waterproof.

USDA Certification

FX Lighting food processing and packaging lighting has been accepted by the United States Department of Agriculture AMS (Agricultural Marketing Service) as in compliance with two food processing programs:

  1. Dairy Equipment Review Program
  2. Meat and Poultry Equipment Review Program

The acceptance certifications are based on criteria, guidelines and principles from two respective standards:

  1. USDA Guidelines for the Sanitary Design and Fabrication of Dairy Processing Equipment
  2. 3-A Sanitary Standards & Accepted Practices
